Director's Message

On behalf of the staff at the Elsie Public Library, I welcome you to our website.  Our goal is to provide you with the best services and materials as possible.  Please take some time to look around our website and get to know what YOUR library can offer YOU. 

The Library attempts to provide access to information, services, activities, and other resources that assist all library users. We offer a variety of fun and creative programming throughout the year for all ages. The goal of our friendly, knowledgeable staff is to make each library visit a pleasant and rewarding experience. 

Our website contains current information about our services, news about upcoming events, and useful links to other resources including MeL (Michigan Electronic Library) which makes most materials available to YOU, ANYTIME, from ANYWHERE. The library has materials for loan in a wide variety of formats, Internet connection,imaginative children’s programs, informational and entertaining adult programs, and thought-provoking book discussions.  

I hope you will take the opportunity to visit our library, meet our dedicated and competent staff, browse our collections, borrow materials, use our Internet access, participate in activities and as we get to know you, you will get to know us.
