Who We Are
Elsie Public Library, located at 145 W. Main St. in the Village of Elsie, provides free services to all residents living within the library district, which includes the Village of Elsie, Duplain Township, Chapin Township, Fairfield Township and Greenbush Township.'' The library is free to all residents of Michigan at this time.
The library holds more than 30,000 materials including books, movies, magazines, music CD's and audio books. Within the library's shared catalog, more than 1,000,000 items are available at all Michigan library systems, through the use of MEL (Michigan e-library).
In total, over 20,000 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2010-2011. In addition to these items, hundreds of people entered the library to use our high speed internet, printers, and Wi-fi services and participate in or attend one of the Library's many programs.

The Library Board Meets the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Duplain Township Hall.
There are no Board meetings in July or December.
